Schools Moodle Staff Developer x 0.35fte - (Ref: CELT040)

£26,779 - £31,020 per annum, pro rata
The Moodle in Schools Support team at the University of Glamorgan is looking to recruit a person with Moodle site-administrator experience (preferably Moodle version 2) and with either teaching or staff development experience who also possess excellent IT skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering staff development sessions on Moodle 2 to schools across RCT and Blaenau Gwent, as well as providing support for user queries.
The position is fixed term for 12 months, Monday - Thursday 14:00 - 17:15 (35% pro rata -13 hours/week), this is due to the fact that most staff development sessions occur at the end of school hours.
The successful candidate will need to be proactive and have a solutions focused approach with excellent communication skills.
A good honours degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline is essential.
