The Faculty of Life Sciences and Education is looking for two Senior Lecturers in Policing & Security. Applications from graduates with either relevant postgraduate (e.g. Criminology, Law, Sociology, Management, etc) experience or police officers with appropriate management experience are invited for 2 senior lectureships in Policing and Security. The successful candidate will have teaching or training experience and will be expected to lead teaching developments on our awards: the honours degree in Police Sciences and in wider associated subjects. This will include liaising with professional bodies and the criminal justice sector and modifying our existing course in line with COP requirements. Preferably, candidates will have approved status from the College of Policing to be able and eligible to deliver the CKP. The successful candidate will also be expected to network effectively with external bodies, to proactively market our provision to schools, colleges and the wider general public.
The post-holder will be based at the University Of South Wales International Centre for Policing and Security on the Glyntaf Campus, Pontypridd.
