The University of South Wales is delighted to invite applications for a research assistant to be based within the Faculty of Life Sciences and Education (FLSE) aligned to the Sport, Health and Exercise Science research programme. Over two thirds of the research was rated world leading or internationally excellent overall during the most recent (2014) Research Excellence Framework (REF). This position represents another major investment in the University's next generation researchers/scholars and is integral to planning for its next REF (2021) submission.
This role provides an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified individual to join a growing multidisciplinary team working in public health, health services and primary care research at The University of South Wales. The research assistant will assist with the development of applications for research funding, the development of scientific papers for publication and the development of impact case studies for REF 2021.
You must have: a PhD in a relevant health or social science discipline and knowledge of current priority areas in public health, health services and primary care.
This position is based at the Glyntaff Campus of the University of South Wales.
