We have recently reviewed our structure and developed a new role of L&D Partner within the HR/OD function. Within these new roles we are adopting a different approach which makes the best use of our resources and provides a strategic and responsive service to the University. The role will operate on a corporate and local level, identifying appropriate development interventions and initiatives and taking them forward, either directly; via third parties; or through supporting local managers to meet those needs. Corporate activities will include aspects of leadership & management development and various staff engagement initiatives.
We are seeking a second L&D Partner who will bring a positive approach to change, identify and adopt new and innovative ways of supporting the University’s L&D needs. You will work closely with colleagues across the University, but particularly the HR Business Partners who have responsibility for HR/OD for their assigned Faculty/Departments.
Please note: this is not a traditional ‘training’ role. The term Partner is deliberate, to signal the relationship-building approach that we now seek.
