The University of South Wales is looking to recruit a Disability Resource Officer. The Disability Resource Officer will support the automated systems currently in use within the DDS in relation to disability staff payment and invoicing funding authorities. They will also support the work of the Disability and Dyslexia Service by providing speedy and efficient administration and other student services to ensure that students engage with the University, rather than commercial provision, thereby protecting an important University income stream while maintaining the quality of the students’ experience. Strong administrative skills necessary to cope with the increasing demands imposed by the Quality Assurance Framework (QAF).
The post will primarily involve liaison with students and staff to ensure timesheets and confirmation sheets are completed correctly and in a timely manner. This information will then be inputted on to spreadsheets and University online processors. Wages and invoicing will make up the remainder of the post to ensure the effective and timely payment of wages and external invoices.
