We are seeking an Academic Registrar with strategic vision and a passion for transforming the student experience and facilitating effective partnerships to deliver results. Our service should say to our students ‘we care, we put you first, and we deliver on your behalf’ . Working closely with our Faculties and other professional departments you will build a vision and culture for the Academic Registry that is customer focused; exemplifying our University values of professionalism, responsiveness, creativity and being inspirational. A decision maker who leads from the front, but with the confidence to engage people fully and empower your colleagues, you will create a culture that solves problems, values good order and simplicity of process, and builds effective decision-making and action locally.
You will lead a team in delivering service excellence in a newly formed Academic Registry structure. Your focus will be on effective service delivery, implementation of the new structure and facilitating change across a function that includes quality assurance and enhancement, student administration, student casework, as well as records, returns and logistics. You will be able to translate a vision into practical steps to deliver service improvement. You will be able to work with your team to make sure that processes are both impactful and lean, focused on the user and on outcomes, so that Faculties in particular are able to deliver on the core business of excellent learning and teaching. Students and staff will say about the Academic Registry that is treats them thoughtfully, and is responsive and timely. You will be accountable for delivery that helps the University meet corporate performance indicators related to student satisfaction, retention and success, staff satisfaction and financial sustainability. We transform student lives at the University, with a passion for opportunity, student success and fulfilling graduate outcomes. We are seeking a Registrar who also cares about the same things.
