The University Secretary’s Office is looking for an experienced administrator to join the team on a fixed term (Up to 1 year) part-time 0.5 FTE contract. The post will provide essential administrative support to the Governance Unit.

The successful candidate will have the ability to manage a wide and varied workload to strict deadlines and will require excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude towards the role. An excellent standard of written English is essential, along with experience in servicing committees/working groups.

The candidate must be a resourceful and flexible team worker, able to work with little supervision, extremely well organised and with well-developed IT skills. Strong communication and minute writing skills are essential together with the ability to deal sensitively and diplomatically with people at all levels across the University and externally.
