Senior Registry Officer (Student Casework Unit)

The University of South Wales is looking to recruit to the permanent position of Senior Registry Officer. This is a universal role, with responsibility for delivering areas of work across the Academic Registry that underpin the student journey. Within different teams, specific activities will vary, but this post will be situated in the Student Casework Unit.
The successful candidate will line manage staff and services across the range of casework activities including: academic appeals, student complaints, student conduct, fitness to practise and academic misconduct. The Student Casework Unit also has oversight of the regulations relating to fitness to study and extenuating circumstances.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of at least one area of student casework, as well as an understanding of the role and function of the Office of the Independent Adjudicator for Higher Education. The ability to develop and deliver training is a key requirement of this role.
This position is based at the Treforest Campus of the University of South Wales. However, travel between all of the University’s campuses will be required. As this is a universal role, staff will be expected to work at any USW campus as deemed necessary.
