Cyber Security at the University of South Wales is an exciting and rapidly expanding area. The growth of the National Cyber Security Academy in Newport, and the Thales National Digital Exploitation Centre in Ebbw Vale are key strategic developments for the University, and there are also developments overseas.
As part of this growth, we are developing our teaching team and research capacity, including the introduction of a significant number of PhD posts early in 2019, and additional Lecturers. Our excellent links with industry, government and law enforcement place us as one of the most dynamic and innovative departments in the field.
Cyber Security sits within the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Science in the School of Computing and Mathematics. The School has a wide range of research interests, which this post is intended to enhance. The successful candidate will possess a range of skills necessary to complement and enhance scholarly activity within the School, and to assist its growing reputation both locally and internationally. With excellent communication skills and a commitment to high quality teaching, you will lecture on a range of undergraduate/postgraduate modules within the field of Cyber Security. This is an exciting opportunity to join a motivated and supportive team.
